Urban Arts Festival
For the Villette Street Festival, in collaboration with Le 9e Concept, AKR presented its performance “Sample,” a piece inspired by the famous street signage “Défense d’afficher” (No posters.)
The choice of florescent colors and collage is a tip of the hat to the 1980s. It also brings out its chameleon forms, highlighting the technique of graphic sampling. Twelve artists gave their unique take on the evolution of street art in a live performance on the Forecourt of the La Villette music complex.
